Blue Care Aged Care Carramar Facility: Is an average home, cultural environment with Seventy two beds, and a mixture of males and females residents’ age between sixty (60) to ninety (90) years old. Sixteen beds out of the seventy-two beds are for dementia residents, these sixteen beds are in the restricted areas with secure garden and secure doors and windows, as the dementia residents often wander and hurt themselves.

This project was created to encourage the residents to engage with an underutilised courtyard, thus, providing more sun, a place to engage with their community and a design that will interact with REMINISCENCE. This mural will also provide a new more soothing place for family and visitors to engage with residents, while also providing a point of difference to other facilities.
